About Me

It’s a Pleasure to Meet You

Hi, I’m Cathe and I believe in our ability to break generational traumas, to heal from wounds inflicted by those who didn’t know how or didn’t have the capacity to show up for us; and to learn how to show up for ourselves. Throughout the years I’ve worked with individual who struggled with addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma and provided counseling services to military services member and their families while deployed overseas. I witnessed the significant impact that relationships can have on your overall wellbeing. From my own personal experience; as I worked to unlearn what was no longer serving me and to rediscover my worth, I was presented with how fundamentally transformative this process can be. It’s led me to learn how to live with greater peace, to create and sustain connections and to feel safe and secure in love. It’s not an easy process nor is it a painless journey but it’s worth it.

Methods

Therapeutic Approach

I have 12 years of professional experience as a therapist. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a diverse and international population. This has led me to develop a more Eclectic Therapeutic style which is a more individualized approach. There’s no real “One Size Fits All” approach when it comes to people and how we cope with challenges. What may work for one may not work for another. Therefore, I carefully create an intentional, individualized treatment plan for each person and /or couple based on their unique needs. I use multiple techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Gottman Methods for Couples, Trauma-Informed Care, Emotion-Focused, Person-Centered, Strength-Based and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

This approach has been helpful if you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, coping and adjustment difficulties and relationship challenges.
